obviously we do travel quite significantly when we decide our plane of choice based on the tastiness of their food. i personally still think SQ is better than qantas or cathay or thai airways and what not overall. AND they are the only airline in the world i think that serves assorted nuts the way i like it- salted and in packets.
though i hear that the dinner on china eastern is pretty yummy. and of course you cannot beat qantas’ selection of australian wine, SQ is second in this until the day they bring me french bordeaux. mmm.
in any case.
10 months to go in australia and i’ll be done with my studies. and i’ll be done with being a child, and hopefully i’ll also say bye bye to public transport and buy my own car. i have been enslaved by the taxi companies for too long and buses and trains are just painful to be on these days.
but if giving up a car is all it takes to stop the aging process, i’ll gladly glue myself to bus 190. i only wish that there’s something i can also give in exchange for some decisiveness and determination. if anything i find that growing up is about being flexible with our principles, but sometimes we bend towards the wrong side. and you don’t know that until you’ve sprained your back trying to be a rubber band, and you don’t know if you can get up anymore.
i woke up this morning after 4 hours of sleep, feeling as though i never slept and my head still woozy. i could have gone out and danced some more.
anyway it was a nice crowd of friends last night and i’m really happy that you guys came (:
you people are the best anyone can ask for and i only hope the drinks were enough. i think most of us were satisfactorily high yes!
